Injury

Under the legislation, unless inconsistent with the context or subject-matter —

injury means any physical or mental injury and without limiting the generality of that definition, includes —

1. industrial deafness
2. a disease contracted by a worker in the course of the worker's employment (whether at or away from, the place of employment)
3. a recurrence, aggravation, acceleration, exacerbation or deterioration of any pre-existing injury or disease
