Disease

Under the legislation, unless inconsistent with the context or subject-matter —

disease includes —

1. any physical or mental ailment, disorder, defect or morbid condition whether of sudden or gradual development and
2. the aggravation, acceleration, exacerbation or recurrence of any preexisting disease
