6.2.8.8 Pain & suffering for injuries after 31 August 1985 & before 1 December 1992

This entitlement is made under the legislation as it applied before 1 December, 1992. There are no minimum or maximum amounts or thresholds for pain and suffering. Generally the allowance for pain and suffering claims is included when calculating the permanent loss of function of the subject injury/injuries.
