Employer
Under the legislation, unless inconsistent with the context or subject-matter —
employer includes —
- (a) a person —
- for whom a worker works or
- with whom a worker agrees to perform work —
- a person who is deemed to be an employer under the legislation and
- if the services of a worker are temporarily lent or let on hire to another person by or with the consent of, the person with whom the worker has entered into a contract of employment or apprenticeship or otherwise—the last mentioned person, while the worker is working for that other person and
- the legal personal representative of an employer who is dead
at the person's direction, instruction or request, whether under a contract of employment (whether express, implied oral or in writing) or otherwise and
