6.4.2.1 Identify ICRP applicants
Agents can identify workers who are likely to be eligible for an ICRP Intensive Case Review Program settlement A lump sum payment that replaces an injured worker's right to ongoing weekly compensation. or workers may initiate the process.
If an impairment assessment has not been performed, inform the worker that they may initiate an impairment benefit claim, as acceptance of an ICRP settlement will preclude the worker from any further lump sum if an ICRP settlement is paid.
An impairment assessment is required to assess if the worker meets the criteria for an ICRP settlement.
